I knew about WAPCEPC in 2006 when Dave Mearns and Elke Lbers came here for 2 weeks to do a training for professionals.
Since then they came back 2 or 3 times and I continue being their interpreter in the trainings. I also transplante 3 of his books into Spanish and got them published
Then many other therapists like Charles O’Leary, Margaret Warner, and others came and asked me to be their interpreter since I am Translator and interpreter as well as PCE counselor.
I became a member in 2007 anda have gone to all the conferences since 2008. Later I became member of the board for three consecutive periods. I stopped because of the limit of three and would like to postulate again. I try to spread this approach to my colleges here.
I found in “the tribes” of PCE my way of working. I know there is a lot to be done and I would like to contribute again, I was in charge of the newsletter and communication
with different members or associations and I’m willing to do whatever is necessary provided is within my abilities
Unluckily I had an accident and was operated on my spine, had sepsis, etc. So I was dis one yrs but last week members of WAPCEPC contacted me to see if I would like to be in the board again. I have done many courses on group counseling, philosophical counseling, palliative care, family counseling, Relation Depth, and many others.
