Help for Organizational members

When you are registered as an Organizational Member with WAPCEPC we store two records on our website: the Organization itself, and the Individual who is (at that time) responsible for administrating that organization's membership. This is because an individual may one year be managing an organizational  member's account, but the next year someone else is. Access to the Organization's details - for example to change the postal address - is done through the personal account of the Individual in charge of administering them. This allows that individual to also separately be a member of WAPCEPC (as an Individual or Couple member) and enjoy the benefits of that. Both memberships can be managed by the individual through their personal account (see below).

As a result, the login and renewal process for Organizational Members is different to other members.

How to view your organization details

  1. Log into the website with your personal username and password. If you have any problems with logging in, please have a look at our Sign-up Help page or contact us for further advice.
  2. You are now logged in with your personal account. Click on 'My Membership' in the left hand sidebar.
  3. This brings up your membership dashboard. At the bottom you can see details of any organization you are administrator for. Click 'View Dashboard' to see details of your Organization's membership.

How to renew your organization's membership

  1. Log in, as above.
  2. Follow the link to 'Organization members, renew here' or follow this link (once logged in).
  3. Select the correct Organization type (eg 'Organizations with up to 25 members') and scroll down to where it asks you to enter Organization details.
  4. Click on 'Select existing organization', then enter the first few letters of your organization's name. When your organization name appears click on it, and the name/address details for your organization should load onto the page.
  5. Check the details are correct and click Continue at the bottom of the page to be take to our secure Paypal payment server.

How to change your organization's name or address

  1. Log in, as above, and navigate to 'my membership' via the link in the left hand sidebar.
  2. Click 'Edit Contact Information' next to your organization name to change any details associated with your organization.

How to change your password

  1. Log in, as above.
  2. Click on 'edit login details' in the left hand column.
  3. Enter your new password, twice, and click save.

How to change the administrator for your organization

If you are no longer the administrator for your organization and would like to allow someone else to manage the organization, please contact WAPCEPC. If the new administrator has an existing personal membership of WAPCEPC (as an Individual or Couple member) then they do not need to create a new website account - so simply contact WAPCEPC and we can update our records.

Donor funds

The Donor Funds offer additional financial assistance to qualified persons and organizations. We welcome contributions from individual members and organizational members to help us make the WAPCEPC more accessible to colleagues who do not have  the economic resources to join the Association.

The Association already offers membership at a reduced rate for members in countries of World Bank Economic Categories "Low income", "Lower middle income" and "Upper middle income" but without the donor funds we are unable to do more than that since we are working with a very small annual budget. We know of many colleagues from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe who would like to become members and who want to contribute to enrich our world community, but who lack the economic resources to join, even with the reduced membership dues.

There are two donor funds.

The original donor fund for individuals, offers a free individual membership to colleagues from these parts of the world, for a period of 2 years. Click here to make a contribution.
The donor fund for organizations offers a contribution of 50% towards the already discounted organizational membership fee for organizations based in these regions. This support is also available for two years. Click here to make a contribution.

Information compiled from personal data.

From time to time WAPCEPC may compile statistical information from data that you have provided to us to draw conclusions about WAPCEPC membership. WAPCEPC reserves the right to publish and share such information, but undertakes that it will never link individual data with statistical information, and will ensure that information about an individual will not be attainable from the statistical information.

Browser information collected on the website

WAPCEPC may analyse its website logs to improve the value of the materials available on the website. The website logs do not allows individuals to be identified , and WAPCEPC makes no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site.

Use of cookies

WAPCEPC uses session based cookies to keep you logged in while you browse the site

Privacy of our email lists

WAPCEPC maintains a list of our members' email addresses. The list server software is configured to refuse to divulge the email addresses of our members to anyone, including other members, with the exception of the WAPCEPC membership administrator and the website administrator.

Your ability to edit and delete your account information

You may request deletion of your WAPCEPC membership at any time by notifying us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Your details will then be removed from our database.

Processing of your account information following non-renewal of membership

If you do not renew your membership and do not request deletion of your details from the database, we will continue to hold your details in our database for two years following the termination of your membership. During this time we may send you information about WAPCEPC and its activities. Your account information will be deleted from our database following this period of time.

Changes to this privacy policy

WAPCEPC may amend this policy from time to time. If any substantial changes are made to in the way WAPCEPC use your personal information we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on the website or by email.
