I am working as a person-centered counsellor and supervisor in private practice in Scotland. I qualified with a diploma in Person-Centered Psychotherapy in 2004 and a Diploma in Person-Centered Supervision from Temenos, Sheffield, UK in 2013.
In my previous career I have many years experience in the Health Sector as a nurse, public health specialist, manager and senior manager in a range of settings including working nationally and internationally. My skills are essentially around working with people and organisations at all levels.
I have beeen a member of the WAPCEPC Board for the last 4 years as the treasurer; I have been a member of many committees over my career and enjoy working in small teams.
This year I have been invited to represent the Board as a member of the PCE Europe task force. I am committed to the person centred approach as a way of being and welcome the opportunity to support the development of the PCA and experiential approaches across countries and disciplines and feel privileged to be a member of the WAPCEPC Board for a short time to learn from, and share with, colleagues worldwide.
