Introducing the New Board

The results of the board election were presented at the GA in Potsdam, and the new board was accepted by the meeting.   Thank you to all of you who voted in the election, and to the election committee (Allan Turner, Jutta Schnellbacher and Jim Iberg).   As in previous years, the board reflects a variety of cultures, languages and traditions in the PCE. We are looking forward to working together for the next two years to support the development of the WAPCEPC.

Here is a list of the new board members and their responsibilities:

Jeffrey Cornelius White (USA): membership and administration, Newsletter, link with USA

Claudio Rud (Argentina): donorfund, link with South America, newsletter, publicity

Jean-Marc Randin (Switzerland): treasurer, administration, link with French speaking colleagues

Elke Lambers (Scotland): chair and board coordinator, journal

Sheila Haugh (England): secretariat, PCE conferences, contact for Western Europe

Magda Draskoczy, (Hungary): donorfund, membership promotion, organizational member link, East European link

Michael Behr (Germany): PCE conferences, journal, link with German speaking colleagues, external relations and publicity

Naoko Hatase (Japan): link with Asian and Japanese colleagues,

Suzanne Keys was also elected, but unfortunately she has had to resign from the board due to personal circumstances.
