The Board’s role is to represent the World Association, oversee the administration elements, and do its best to serve our aims of contributing to the support and growth of the person-centered and experiential approach in psychotherapy and counselling. We also aspire to contribute at a socio-political level and demonstrate the value of a PC&E informed approach to health, education and social equity.

I am the general secretary of the National Organization for Psychotherapy in Greece and Chair of the Research Committee. I represent PCE Europe in the European Association for Psychotherapy in the SARC (Science and Research Committee) and I am chair of the research committee of the PCE Europe.
I am a psychologist and a person-centered psychotherapist, working with individuals, couples, families and groups for more than 20 years. I also offer therapy for kids and adolescents. I am originally from Dnipro, Ukraine, but due to the aggressive Russian full-scale war in my country, I was forced to leave Ukraine and move to Germany in 2022. At the moment I share my life in two countries.
I qualified both in client-centered psychotherapy and children and youth psychotherapy, along with this I opened a private practice which I still run. After years of work I felt keen to share my professional experience and got qualified as a PCA trainer and supervisor at the UUAP (Ukrainian Umbrella Association of Psychotherapists) where I teach practical and theoretical skills to those who decided to dedicate themselves to this profession.
In 2022, the year of the full-scale invasion in my country, I have decided to join the WAPCEPC Board to contribute to the development of the Association and the PCA approach throughout the World, including disadvantaged communities. In the current Board I am a Treasurer, also I provide a liaison between the Board and the PCEP Journal editorial, as well as a liaison between the Board and the PCE26 Conference organizational committee. I would love to carry on the same way and to work on the development of the Association, so that it grows holding its rightful place among other international psychotherapy communities.

I have been a professional counsellor for 29 years, 7 in Colorado US and 22 in Singapore. Throughout my journey I have be striving to truly live and work person centred. I fully believe that we can lead, mentor, supervise, counsel and live person centred. Two years ago I discovered the WAPCEPC, and was drawn by the excellent journal and a hope for community. At the General Meeting I agreed to be part of the Membership Working Group. My heart told me that this would be the place to see community for all of us grow. I am deeply grateful for each of the members of this work group, and all members who joined our round table discussions. If I’m accepted onto the Board my biggest passion will be to contribute to an increasingly vibrant online community that helps each of us address life, whether that includes encounters, peer supervision, guidance on establishing chapters, and so much more. Thank you for this opportunity to seek you support. I am at peace with what this diverse community decides.
My name is George Fragakis. As a clinical psychologist and person-centered psychotherapist, my journey is one of continuous growth and exploration. Presently, I am a Ph.D. student and teaching assistant at the Université catholique de Louvain (in Belgium), where my research delves into intersectionality in person-centered therapy, the therapeutic dynamics of privilege and power, and the integration of spirituality in therapy. I also serve as a trainer in person-centered psychotherapy trainings both in Greece and Belgium.
I helped establish the Panhellenic Association of Professionals in the Person-Centered/Experiential Approach (PAPPCEA), serving on its board from 2019 to 2024. Currently, I am an elected board member of the Association Francophone de Psychothérapie Centrée sur la Personne et Expérientielle (AFPC) (2021-2024).
My professional path has been enriched by diverse collaborations. I have worked with the NGO Freedom Gate, interned at the Institute of Mental Health for Children and Adults in Athens, served at the 414 Military Hospital for Special Diseases, and supported LGBTQIA+ youth with the NGO Colour Youth.
If elected to the WAPCEPC board of directors, I aim to foster a spirit of openness and collaboration, inspired by Carl Rogers' vision. My focus will be on facilitating environments that support personal and professional development, continuous learning, and research on contemporary issues such as human rights, socio-political and ecological struggles, and eco-anxiety.
I am eager to contribute to WAPCEPC and work with dedicated professionals to advance our mission of promoting person-centered psychotherapy worldwide. Together, we can create a supportive, innovative, and inclusive environment for both therapists and clients!
Thank you for considering my candidacy!
With kindness,
George Fragakis
My name is Meike Braun, born in 1976. I am partner, mum, daughter, sister, friend, colleague. Humanist, justice fighter, freedom seeker, questioner, optimist, humble, privileged, doer, realist, dreamer, always a forest lover and horsewoman.
Since 2007, I have been self-employed in my own little practice as a person-centered counsellor, psychotherapist (HeilprG) lecturer for personal development and counselling skills at divers institutions.
I came to PCA in 2005 via the MA in person-centered counselling in Germany. 2006, I jumped in at the deep end in Potsdam PCE2006. After my initial doubts as a beginner in the scene about the many colleagues who impressed me, it was my sociable colleagues from Scotland who put me at ease. Over the years, I have been trained and certified as a pca counsellor, trainer and in pca psychotherapy. I am currently completing in pca body psychotherapy. Life is a process.
The atmosphere at PCE2006 and within the GwG, combined with the knowledge that the PCA is something exceptionally good, valuable and worth protecting, led me to become active as a volunteer and in social media early on.
Since years I am working in the GwG as a community manager, in project groups and panels. People are at the centre of my work: tackling ideas and solutions to create good conditions for development, networking, professionalization and positioning.
In Germany, where the lack of recognition of PCA PT is a heavy burden on the soul, and at the same time Rogers can be found in various professional fields, there is a need for convinced commitment. The basic principles of the PCA are needed in our world and are sorely needed in times of war, climate crisis, individual crises.
The WAPCEPC is an important pillar as professional home, as well as for the global society.
Since applying to host the congress in Germany again, I have enjoyed the contact with the international colleagues and have been impressed by the concentrated and benevolent manner and interaction, the spirit of innovation, but also the preservation of person-centered traditions.
To become a member of the board, it fits well being member of the GwG-organization team of the PCE2026. I’d love to put in my practical experience from previous involvement at the association level. It would be an honor and a pleasure to be able to contribute to the WAPCEPC/ PCE World board with whatever is possible and desired and congruent.

My name is Lidia Fogliati. I have been a PCE psychotherapist for more than twenty years now. I have been involved in training and research from PCE, as well. Being an English teacher as well as a PCE therapist has been of great help so far. I also teach PCE at a postgraduate course at the School of Psychology, at the University of Buenos Aires. I have also helped organizing encounter groups, and I have attended PCE Conferences and Forums, and presented workshops, some of them related to my work in the field of motherhood. I have also written a book, named "Búsquedas", where I include my experiences and testimonies as a PCE therapist. This is my fourth term as a Board member, being before for three terms from 2010 to 2016. As part of the editorial team of the newletter I think I have made my contribution, as a link with Latin America, sharing what people from Brazil. Mexico, Chile, and Argentina are doing in their countries. That is part of what a "truly worldwide association" means to me. I would like to refer now to my experience of sharing these years with people coming from different parts of the world. I always anticipate our online meetings with pleasure, stimulated by our creative and committed discussions, always including our diversity.
